I’ve been toying with the idea of installing an aluminium pergola in my backyard, mostly for looks and a bit of shelter from the sun. I don’t need a full-on outdoor kitchen setup or anything fancy—just something sleek that would make the space look more “put together.” I’ve seen some stunning setups online, but I’m torn between keeping it minimal or going bold with LED lights, plants, maybe even drapes. Has anyone here actually done this? I'd love to hear how the aesthetic changes once it's up and whether it's worth the effort.
